The police are asking residents to please take time to attend an outreach/public-meeting/imbozo with them. There are two Imbizos, one in Kleinmond and the other in Betty's Bay at Crassula Hall.

Being a public meeting there is no fixed Agenda. The purpose of the meeting is to invite an open, frank discussion between members of the police and members of the public.

As from April 1 we fall under a new police cluster – basically combining the Hermanus and Caledon Clusters. The commander will probably be a brigadier – we’re waiting for the appointment to be announced. We’re also hoping that that commander will attend the Imbizo. Likewise, we trust that the Hermanus Station Commander will attend. Unfortunately Capt Kutu is on a course and will not attend.
