The early stations are an eclectic blend of Baroque, Classicical, Quasi-religious iconography, melded with Soviet realism, Soviet heroes, Industry, Sports, Warfare, and REVOLUTION.
There are bas-reliefs, friezes, bronze statues, stained-glass windows, and hundreds of Byzantine mosaics in glass, and marble.
